Water doesn’t wait for you to call back.

Somebody with water on the floor calls until a human answers, and stops at the first one that does. VoiceLi answers on the first ring at any hour, works out how bad it is, and gets your engineer moving — while the caller is still on the line.

The moment that wins the job

It asks whether the water is off.

Before it books anything, before it takes an address, it asks the one question that actually matters at eleven at night — and then talks them through finding the valve.

That is a small piece of genuinely useful help, delivered at the worst moment of somebody’s week, by a company they have not hired yet.

A message-taker cannot do that. It is also the reason plumbers who try this keep it.

Six workflows

Things a message-taker cannot do

01

Emergency triage

Burst pipe, no water, sewage backup, gas smell, failed water heater. It hears the urgency and routes to your on-call phone in the first minute.

02

Drain and repair booking

What is leaking, where, whether the water is off, property type and access — then a slot that actually exists.

03

Bathroom and repipe estimates

Longer conversation, bigger ticket. Captures scope and whether they are getting other quotes, then books the estimator and flags the lead.

04

Service plan renewals

Outbound to plan holders before expiry — the calls nobody has time to make.

05

Annual inspection campaigns

Your whole customer list, called and booked without anyone dialling.

06

Quote follow-up

The estimate from nine days ago. It calls, asks where they got to, books the work or marks it dead with a reason.

What it actually sounds like

Caller

There’s water coming out from under my kitchen sink — a lot of it. It’s about eleven at night, I’m sorry.

VoiceLi

No need to apologise, that is exactly what this line is for. First things first — have you been able to turn the water off?

Caller

I don’t know where the valve is.

VoiceLi

There should be a shut-off under the sink itself, usually a small oval handle on the pipe at the back. If you can reach it, turn it clockwise until it stops.

Caller

Hang on — okay, yes. It’s stopped.

VoiceLi

Well done, that has probably saved you a floor. I have an engineer on call who can be with you within the hour. Shall I send them?

Caller

Yes please.

VoiceLi

On their way. You will get a text with their name and arrival window in a moment.

Questions

Asked and answered

Can it tell someone how to turn their water off?

Yes, and it asks before anything else on an emergency call. It talks them to the isolation valve under the sink or the main stop tap, and records whether they managed it so your engineer knows what they are arriving to.

Can it tell an emergency from a dripping tap?

Yes, from what the caller describes. Flooding, no water, sewage or a gas smell route straight to the on-call phone. A slow drip gets booked for Tuesday.

Will it try to diagnose the problem?

No. It captures what is leaking, where, whether it is still flowing and how to get in — then leaves the diagnosis to the person qualified to make it.

What happens at 3am?

Whatever you tell it. Most companies run emergency-only outside hours: genuine emergencies ring the on-call phone, everything else is booked for the morning and the caller knows where they stand.

Does it book into my actual schedule?

It checks real availability and writes the appointment, rather than handing you a message and leaving the booking to you.

Can I keep my existing number?

Yes. We are a licensed carrier and we port it. Nothing changes for your callers while that happens.
