Annual plans 15% less · no setup fee on Basic or Pro · cancel any time from the dashboard
Answered here, not buried in an FAQ
Can I keep my number?
Yes. We are the carrier, so we port it rather than forwarding it. Or a new number can be live in about thirty minutes. How porting works
What if I go over?
You are billed at your tier’s rate, and the dashboard shows you approaching it well before it happens. Basic’s allowance is about forty-four calls at two minutes each.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the dashboard. No cancellation fee and no notice period.
The model matters more than the headline number
Two vendors can advertise a similar monthly figure and bill you nothing alike. What changes the invoice is whether agents are counted, whether the number is yours, and what the rate becomes once the allowance runs out.
| Vendor | How the bill is calculated |
|---|---|
| VoiceLi | Flat monthly. Agents included in the tier, number included, overage rate published. |
| Goodcall | Per agent per month ($79 / $129 / $249), then metered on unique customers — $0.50 for each one past the tier’s limit. |
| RingCentral AI Receptionist | $49 a month including 100 minutes, then $0.50 for every additional minute. |
| Smith.ai | Per call, on top of the monthly plan. |

Let it call you and ask
Two minutes on the phone will size this better than a pricing table will. The agent asks what your call volume looks like, what happens now when nobody picks up, and what you would want it to do — then tells you which tier that lands in.
It also happens to be the product demonstrating itself, which is the point.
Which agent should call you?
Two minutes. It will tell you which plan fits.
The questions the best pricing pages answer
Do voice minutes and messages share one allowance?
No. Minutes and messages are separate pools with separate overage rates, so heavy texting never eats into your call time.
What counts as a minute?
Connected talk time on the call, measured from answer to hang-up.
Is there a setup fee?
Not on Basic or Pro. Enterprise includes white-glove onboarding, which is where the setup work actually lives.
Can I change plans mid-month?
Upgrade any time and we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
Do you offer annual pricing?
Yes — annual plans are 15% less.
Do I get charged for spam and wrong numbers?
Known spam numbers are screened before the agent picks up. A wrong number that does connect is a few seconds of talk time.
What happens if I go over my minutes?
You are billed at your tier’s overage rate. No service interruption and no surprise suspension — but you will see it coming in the dashboard well before it happens.
